National Anthem of Mozambique, "Pátria Amada" (2002)
On April 30, 2002, Mozambique adopted a new National Anthem, "Pátria Amada"  ("Beloved Motherland").  
Later the same year, the "Assembleia da Republica" (House of Representatives) celebrated its 25th anniversary.   At the closing ceremony of a special, celebratory session of the Assembleia in November 2002, Mingas gave a solo a cappella performance of the new National Anthem.
